There are many unsung heroes in our local community. There are many people who dedicate their time to making the community a safe and welcoming place for everyone. Volkswagen of South Charlotte recognizes the efforts of the people and organizations who make daily life easier for all of us, which is why we seek to help them out. Actively working to better the local community isn't the job of one person or one organization, but rather a collective effort from everyone who is a part of that community. Here at Volkswagen of South Charlotte, we are passionate about giving back to the local community and see the importance in the work done by The Umbrella Center.

The Umbrella Center assists people who have suffered from domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, human trafficking, and child abuse by providing resources such as advocates, law enforcement, prosecuters, counselors, members of the faith community, and health care providers under one roof.
